So with 4.3 come and gone by now, what has been my experience with the new content. well ive downed all 8 of 8 bosses on 10man normal mode, and will be going into heroics this week or next and ill let you know how they are when I run them. For the most part, every boss with exception of madness… are to easy in my humble opinion. When they said at the beginning of cataclysm that they would be making the raids more like original wow I was exited about the hard content. After doing all of dragon soul this is total bull. There is nothing in there that cannot be out geared in a matter of a few weeks. If you are having difficulty with some of it I understand, my comp for the raid had every buff in the game possible,(ill list our breakdown for you at the end of the blog)  and while this did make it easier to down everything, it still is not anything like it used to be back in BC or Wrath raiding. I remember taking a few weeks to down one boss, beating our heads against the wall for a number of weeks just to wipe over and over… this is nothing like that. No trash, no difficult mechanics to figure out. No nothing of the sort. Now I do know that heroics are MUCH harder. But I don’t see us taking more then just a few weeks to down most of it. ( I will update it when we down it.)

But onto some good news. 4.3.2 comes out here most likely next week. While this has some awesome new features (I.e. Cross realm raiding) it does nerf a few classes. Mages are getting a 6% nerf to fire dps. This should put most mages on par with other caster classes.

Gurthalak, Voice of the Deeps is getting a buff(unless you’re a pally or DK) getting a 12 second tentacle vs. a 10 sec one. Now for Dks and Pallies they are getting rid of the extra chance to proc that tentacle.

We have been having a GREAT time at The Gaming Cave!  We have already met so many wonderful people, and made many new friends.  Fort Gordon has really gave us a great reception, and we want each of you to know how thankful we are!

What a great group of people our gamers are!  Seriously, of all the different communities of people that we could choose to work with, gamers are just the best.  With their laid back attitude, they really just want a place to hang out and have fun:  this is what we try to provide at The Gaming Cave! Many have become like family members, and keep in touch with us on a regular basis!  We have even been invited to weddings and received birth announcements from "extended family" of gamers : )
