November 2011

  • Have the game for PS3 "The Legend of the Dragon"
  • This place is awesome.  I just want to be able to play with all my buddies, so an expansion or larger building would be awesome.
  • I feel like this is home away from home.  I like the family feeling here.  They really seem to care.
  • Let's get this place a bigger space!  Then we could do even more!
  • Other than being crowded often, this place is convenient, affordable, and I love it.
  • There is not enough room in this establishment.  I came to the Gaming Cave trying to play games with my friends, but it was packed full. - - Tyler Wood
  • More space for Gaming Cave Plox (please)!!! : ) Zorn
  • Would love to see overnighters (on post pass), bigger building/ better building/longer hours.  I save money at this place, just wish it was bigger.
  • Love this place, and I am telling everyone about it!
  • No complaints at all, just am happy to find The Gaming Cave!
  • Please expand for more room for more people to play.
  • A bigger area to bring our own computers to play games - - PFC Bateman

 October 2011

  • To whom this may concern, I really enjoy coming to The Gaming Cave.  It is a place to enjoy what we like to do.  We are gamers, and soldiers.  The only downside we really have is very limited space.  If the area was a lot bigger, The Gaming Cave could fare then 100% better.  Sincerely, a Fellow Gamer.
  • They need more room for people to play!  It's a great place to hang out, play games, and make new friends.  We also build connection with other soldiers from different companies.  All they need is more room.

September 2011

  • Please start carrying coffee drinks:  Monster Java, Starbucks Frappucino, Doubleshots, etc.
  • This place is amazing!  And I would love to have a larger place, that way not only could we have more leg room, but we could get a larger crowd and get more of a loyal following.  It would be awesome!  Please help!  ~ PFC Cooper
  • Need a bigger place with more room for PC's.
  • BIGGER RENOVATION - O. Mendez
  • Get Black Ops! - Airryn : )
  • Team Tournaments!!
  • I extremely like this facility.  It needs to expand simply because the fact that people don't have a place to sit. ~ PFC Martinez D Co 447
  • I would like to see DDR with mats! - O. Mendez
  • Incredible place to be at.  A little small. Could use bigger space.
  • This place is flippin' sweet! I love it!  WOO!  Fun stuff : )  ~Handlebars
  • Would like to see Left 4 Dead 2 on XBox360!
  • Dear Whom ever it concerns:  The idea of a LAN center is amazing, but the full potential of this establishment can not be reached unless there is more room for us (the soldiers)!  I believe that this is needed very much! I arrived here in April and I leave in October.  I drank my whole time here in Fort Gordon.  If this place were available I would have played games!  It is a Great Place!!!
  • I love it here but it needs more space, a bigger building. ~PFC Lucas, Robert P.
  • NEEDS a bigger place ~ PVT Vargus

The Gaming Cave - Augusta Members:

  • Greetings---I am writing in response to a request from the GamingCave.  I was at Ft. Gordon in 2007 for Advanced Individual Training and spent much of my later months of training weekends in the Gaming Cave.  It was a nice place to just hang out with friends and was much cheaper, and safer, than going out to any of the other entertainments that were in the area.  It would have been very nice to have the Cave on the fort premises because that would have saved me significant money on cab fare, which I hear has been going up steadily.  There were weekends, when we were not locked down, that i would spend the entire time at the cave with my battle buddies and just hang out.  As a recruit, and now a soldier, I believe having the Gaming Cave inside Ft. Gordon would be a safe decision, and beneficial to the soldiers morale, as well as a safe alternative to going out of town and making bad decisions.--SPC Nicholas Brakhage 4-26-2009

    To whom it may concern…….
I’m writing on behalf of the gaming cave, in which, in the short time of a year, the owners have shown themselves to me to be people of tremendous honesty and integrity.   It has been brought to my attention recently that the owners of this establishment wish to relocate to Fort Gordon.  My intentions have been to take a few moments of your time to explain to you why this would be beneficial not to the Gaming Cave but also to Fort Gordon and the army in its entirety.  But instead of giving you my recommendation, in which I assure u I whole heartedly do recommend this establishment, instead I want to give you a challenge.  A challenge that I’m sure if you accept you’ll fin yourself feeling the same way as I do about this merger.   I challenge you to get to know this business, what its about, and the people who run it.  For I’m sure if you take the time you’ll come to learn just what I’m talking about, and come to learn to love what they do.  I also challenge you to talk to the ones who matter most in every decision you make.  The men and women who serve in our armed forces and  who have come into contact with this establishment.  These are the same men and women who are protecting us stateside and abroad.  For I’m sure if you talk to these men and women you’ll find the same consensus in all of their remarks, that this is more than just a business, but it’s a home away from home.  There is not a man or women that enter without feeling loved and cared for.  And in these times that’s exactly what most of these young men and women need.  They feel  scared, segregated, and apart from their families, and many of which have been overseas or live to know their going over seas, and need somewhere to go while their away, while their waiting, and when they return.
Somewhere they can feel at home even when they are not.  I can tell you from personal experience how these people have made me feel like part of their family, but there is not enough words to show the gratitude of how I feel knowing that they continue to comfort those who are risking their lives for us.  So I challenge you to talk to those who have experienced this first hand, those who are your greatest concern and focus, and those who daily deserve honor and gratitude for what they do.  I challenge you to talk to the men and women you see every day.  And I challenge you to talk to the ones in which run this establishment.  And one thing I’m certain that you’ll walk away with, is that in which everyone walks away with, is that when you visit the Gaming Cave, your not just visiting a business, your visiting family.
