The Gaming Cave

The Gaming Cave was first opened up in 2006, with the concept idea and design formulated by Jessie Kauffman.  What had began as a high school business education project, eventually became our whole family's endeavor. After much study into the internet cafe' business, Jessie worked up a business plan that we were able to put into action; our first store was born in Augusta, Georgia.  The concept idea took off, and The Gaming Cave idea was a great success thanks to the many people who came out and supported us by enjoying some awesome gaming!

We promise to do our very best to provide a gaming environment that is comfortable and relaxing for our customers to enjoy.  

The Gaming Cave has always felt like a "home away from home" for many of our gamers, and we work hard to keep it that way.

It is our hope that you will let us know if there is anything different you would like to see or have available to you during your stay with us.  We want our establishment to be a place that you choose to hang out when you have time off, and feel relaxed enough to enjoy that time off.

Our Goals: 

We would love to see The Gaming Cave 2.0 grow into a facility big enough to accommodate everyone who wants to join in on the gaming!  Eventually, we'd love to have a center that was big enough to begin hosting our own LAN parties, as well.  The gaming community is a group of people that just love to have fun, and we enjoy their company thoroughly. 

We'd love to see our facility be able to one day, again, host over-nighter's!  The gamer's just loved being able to grab a beanbag chair and a blanket, and crash out when they'd had enough, and then jump right back onto the game again when they woke back up.

Another thing that we have always wanted to do is teach classes in our facility.  We have so many idea's that we would like to see come to life! A few programs that we'd like to implement would be:

Graphic Design

Photo Manipulation

Corel Draw

Etsy Store Building

and much more!

As you can see, we have big plans that we'd like to see come to light in the future.  We have to dream...and dreams do come true...

We continue to plan and bring more and more activities to server our soldiers, always keeping an open ear to their needs and desires!

The Gaming Cave 2.0 has finally came to life!  We have been attempting to gain a location on Fort Gordon since 2005, and were finally given the opportunity in August 2011.  Whew!  Lots of work, but we are excited to be here, and look forward to once again being able to provide a facility for gaming to our soldiers!

While this facility is quite a bit smaller than we were used to having with our original store, we think that you will find it quite comfortable and inviting, and that you will enjoy your visit with us!

Currently in store we offer PC gaming on Alienware computers, XBox360 gaming and plenty of Wifi stations for you to bring your own computer in and hook up to.  We also sell drinks and snack food, and a great environment!
